Artist Statement

Materiality is essential to me—its tangibility, multidimensionality, and unpredictability. By exploring matter through the senses, I perceive reality not as I wish to see it, but as it truly is. Just as skin serves as a map of lived experiences, the texture of a photographic print, a rock, or a glass plate is a record of the internal process that unfolds during creation.
